The Dry Run feature is under development, with limited accuracy in file events, statuses, and job completion. Currently unavailable via API, while it appears in "Get Job Runs," initiating it via API is not yet supported.
File download reporting for Storage tiering and Distribution jobs
This feature provides detailed reports for Distribution, Storage tiering, and Archival jobs by tracking file-level outcomes such as transfers, skips, or failures. Reports can be generated manually or automatically after job completion. Available in 4.2.0.2776

Progressive hydration in TSS
Known limitations
Progressive file downloads are not supported for updated jobs on Windows Agents. In such cases, jobs must be recreated.
Avoid ungraceful system shutdowns to prevent rechecks of placeholders by the Agent.
Some applications (e.g., BitLocker, Total Commander, Windows Defender, AutoCAD) may require full file downloads during access, even without pinning the files.
A partially hydrated file cannot be dehydrated.

Preview your media files directly on local full sync shares and cache accessed over SMB.
Not supported for local TSS shares.
To enable previews, add the custom parameter: placeholders_as_regular_files_for_smb_server:1 in the Agent profile
For version 4.2.0 older than v4.2.0.2705, additionally to the custom parameter, activate shared locks.

Known issues:
Upgrade of the Management Console from previous version with enabled database encryption is not supported. It's advisable to disable database encryption before update.
Unpinning files in TSS shares on macOS does not cancel file download if in progress.
Restricted Agents may encounter the error "Only %FOLDERS_STORAGE% location is allowed by policy" if the "Ask User" option is enabled.
