Overview
Resilio Connect allowed to unite Agents into groups. Grouping the Agents solves the following tasks:
- updating some of the parameters in bulk on the Agents. For example, settings in an Agent profile, or a bandwidth limiter.
- simplify adding the Agents to jobs. Instead of adding them one-by-one, Admin and create a group pf Agents in reuse it for different jobs;
- automate Agent getting to a job. This can be achieved by Autogroup functionality.
- some of the group types have built-in functionality. For example High Availability and Gateway Scaleout groups, which are available starting with Resilio Active Everywhere Platform v4.0.0.
How to Configure Groups
Groups are created and edited from the Groups tab via a step-by-step wizard.

Agents tab
On tab "Agent" one can check/uncheck agents to add or remove them from the group, if that does not produce usage conflict. See the usage matrix below.
- If the agent you are trying to add already has the job with a permission different form that of the specified group, Resilio Management Console will display "already used" the "Is used" column and won't allow to add the conflicting Agent.
- Also, it can be caused by different profiles or schedules assigned to different groups.
Jobs tab
